Biography
Pat Savery is a Senior US Rates Trader for the Fixed Income Group at Loomis, Sayles & Company. In this role, he is responsible for providing tactical and strategic trade recommendations, ensuring optimal execution across all US interest rate products, and delivering timely analysis of market trends, movements, and the impact of economic and policy releases on broader markets. Pat joined Loomis Sayles in 2020 and has 14 years of investment industry experience. Previously, he was a senior trader covering tax-sensitive fixed income at xBK Trading LLC & Mellon, overseeing cash, sector and yield curve strategies. Prior to this, Pat was an interest rates trade at Standish Mellon Asset Management, where he executed trades and recommended strategic and tactical positions across US and Canadian interest rate and derivative products. Earlier in his career at Standish, he was a portfolio analyst and later a trading assistant. Pat earned a BA from the University of Richmond. He is a CFAĀ® charterholder.
